Want to know how relevant a drug test is for an unarmed robbery case. Have a close relative who robbed a bank (unarmed) for 2k. The relative has both a noted drug and gambling problem that seriously needs to be addressed. We have asked that he be drug tested in order to have this information for the trial however, the jail does not perform these drug tests. IS this necessary to do? If so How do I go about gettting him tested. Also would paying back the 2k help with the case?
