I was pulled over in January for driving on a Suspended liscense. This would be my 2nd offense. My first was in 2007. What punishment can I face, and what would be the most likely??
My record is fairly clean I've only had 2 arrest at age 25 1 for malicious desturction of property and a 2nd on a warrent for failing to show up for court. The charges were dropped at the request of the person making the complaint.
Operating After Suspension
The punishment depends on the suspension reason. For example, if your license was suspended for operating under the influence and you were found driving, you will face a minimum mandatory 60 days imprisonment. Also, a conviction for operating after suspension may trigger a 4 year habitual traffic offender revocation, if you have any combination of 12 minor and 3 major violations within any 5 year period.
