Do one get paid even though one quit on the third day? The job was not what I wanted (I hated it) and I knew I did not like the job, and I thought that it was best that I quit sooner than later. So I emailed them for my final wages and they informed me that i would not be getting paid for the time worked. (I know 3 days is not much but what angers me the most is that they were nasty about it too). Is this illegal in the state of MA to not get paid? It is to my understanding that one is entitled to be legally paid for the time worked.
Paid for training
I believe employees should be paid for the training period, whether it is at the beginning of a job or after you have worked for a while. Call the Attorney General's Fair Labor Hotline at 617-727-3465, explain the facts and the situations, and see if they agree. Good luck.
