I hosted a party in my apartment, cops came and arrested me, spent 3 hours in jail. Had Disorderly and Violation of Bylaws charges. Went to court and charges were dismissed by the judge. I understand the dismissed charges and arrest will still show on my criminal record. What consequence does this really have as far as looking for employment applying to graduate school, credit, etc.

Criminal records of job applicants
Under the new Criminal Records Reform Act, I'm not even sure those items will show on your records. In any case, you can follow this link for information about use of criminal records in employment and hiring. As you will see, the Criminal Records Reform Act places limitations both on how records can be used by employers and on how long the items remain on your record. As for the graduate school, I really could not say whether your arrest will be relevant. Good luck.
