I am the only person who bought in to a 4 unit building. The developer controls the association and is renting the other 3 units. He is being foreclosed on and the units will be auctioned next month. What do I need to do to gain control of the association and get it healthy? He has been unresponsive to requests to review the financial statements. I don’t expect him to respond to any request and need guidance on what to do. I have spoken with a few lawyers but no on is interested in helping me. Do I need to file paperwork or do anything legal-wise?
