How can a credit card company prove in a trial that you are responsible for charges if they only have your monthly statement and not a copy of each charge showing your signature?

If you are saying that it was not you who, in fact, was using the card, then you should contact a MA attorney to help you establish a defense. If you are asking me if that argument will help you avoid having to pay for charges you made, the answer is no. That is a losing argument. The card company has records that will allow it to establish you used the card.
