I purchased a home 2 months ago (Middlesex county). After the closing I noticed that at the county real estate records website that several of the documents filed are not properly indexed (you cannot find them by searching by last name or property address). There are several documents that were not indexed correctly including the homestead , an Affidavit, and a state compliance cert (the deed is correctly indexed). Online you can only access this mis-indexed docs by entering the document number or browsing through the Books/Pages.
I asked my closing attorney about this and he said this is not an issue (he also had no explanation why this happened). Is this a problem that needs to be fixed? If so how can I fix it?
