Can a company that has filed for bankruptcy be protected under Mass laws even though they were paid for our services we provided in excess of $32K by their client? We spoke to their client directly who stated he paid every bill in full and has records to prove it. Therefore, I don't understand where that money went and why we should not get paid for that. Can we file criminal charges against this corporation for fraud?
