Constant False Reports to and from DCF

I find it sad that people can make false reports to DCF and they come out and harrass you and threaten you. how do i protect myself better? I have always had proof that I was at work and other witnesses that I am not around my now ex-friend and her family. I have also been harrassed and threated by these people making the false reports and the cops will do nothing about it. i have also had damage done to property. I have gotten to the point that I have No trustpassing signs up and one says trespassers and unwanted gustes will be shot. I am at wits end. and now in the new year they continue but mostly on my ex-friend and her kids. dcf has not been to my house as of yet this year over the new two false reports. ARE THEY THAT STUPID?
