Condo unit damage from common area pipe leak

MA Real Estate Law Questions and Answers

Hello, I'm an owner of a condominium unit. There has been a damage to the wall of my unit from a common area pipe leak. The condo association says while they are responsible for repairing the pipe leak in the common area, I should pay for damages to the unit. I do not agree with this and based on similar questions on this forum, believe there are legal grounds for my position. Any help would be much appreciated-- thank you.
