Are the people sitting in front of the judges called clerk magistrates? What about the people sitting on the side of the clerk entering data into computers.

That is probably one of the court clerks, not a magistrate. A clerk-magistrate is a judicial officers who helps with the administration of the court, but who also serves as a judicial hearing officer (almost like a judge) on procedural criminal matters such as show cause hearings. Not sure, but the other person you mention might be a court reporter, who prepares a verbatim record of the proceeding.
