I was involved in a car accident where I suffered pretty bad neck and wrist injuries when the other driver came through a red light and I drove into the side of his car. The thing is we swapped information I just went home. My wrist felt sprained so I didn't think it was a huge deal and my neck didn't hurt at all. The next morning I couldn't move my head at all and my wrist was swollen and later turned out to be broken. I got a cast on my right wrist so I lost a lot of work time. I guess my question is whether I should have called 911 or maybe got a ride to the hospital so it didn't look so much like I wasn't really injured when I was. Can I still win a personal injury lawsuit even though I didn't seem too injured at the time? What do you think?

Personal injury case
I wouldn't worry about it. It is not unusual for a seriously injured person to underestimate the extent of her injuries after an accident. Especially with neck and other soft-tissue injuries, it can take a while for the pain to develop. Similarly, the fact that you did not ride in an ambulance is completely irrelevant to the central issues in any personal injury claim: was the other party negligent and did that negligence result in injury and damages to you? Take care of your injuries and then contact a MA injury lawyer. Good luck.
Ambulance after personal injury
Absolutely. Our office handles many personal injury, auto accident cases each year to completion even when ambulance transport is not a component of damages. Our office practices only personal injury. I would be happy to give you a completely free, no-obligation consultation to see if you have a case that I can help you with. Thank you.
