I will say that the only time
I will say that the only time people see an increase is when either they go from Supplemental Security Income to Social Security Disability Insurance OR when there is a cost of living increase which is usally minimal.
Your Social Security disability benefit is based on the amount of your lifetime earnings before your disability began and not the degree or severity of your disability.
For more information go to: www.socialsecurity.gov/dibplan/dapproval2.htm
Hope this helps.

I agree with irishtemper. The amount you receive as disability benefits from the SSA (For SSDI) is not based on the severity of your condition but on the amount of your earnings before your disability began. So a change in your condition will not alter the payment. Sorry.
