Breaking lease without notice under a 6 months lease

I have a lease until June 2012, but I am very unhappy with my living situation, I pay half of the rent. I am a single person and they are a couple. The apartment has 2 bedrooms and 2 living rooms I asked them to let me have one of the leaving rooms for myself because I am paying to have half of the apartment and they refuse, then I asked to pay less because they have 80% of the space in the apartment and they refuse. I really want to leave. Can I break my lease under these circumstances ?

lease termination

I cannot answer this question based upon your statement. Who are they? Are they the landlords or are they your co-tenants. The lease will describe the premises that you rented and you should have equal access to all the space described. If they have prevented you from that access, they are in breach and you can terminate the lease due to their breach, not just because you are unhappy about a living situation to which you agreed.

Breaking the Lease

Well the situation is the following I singed a lease to pay half of the rent to have half of the apartment, the co-tenants sing another lease for the same rights as far as I know, most of the furniture belongs to them I only own what is in my bedroom, so technically they are paying half of the rent for a full apartment, I asked my co-tenants to let me have the leaving room next to my bedroom and they didn't agreed then I asked to pay less rent or at least have everyone pay and equal amount for the apartment they didn’t agreed, the only way I can get out of the lease is by finding another tenant which I am trying very hard, one of the co-tenants told me that nobody can see the apartment without meeting him first, I mean he can’t demand that because I have the same rights he does, he is also offering another room when the room for rent is my room. What can I do?
