Am I liable for the rest of my lease? AND Can I sue my landlord for the cost of moving?

I have provided my landlord, with a 30 day notice that I am breaking my lease due to my apartment becoming unlivable. It states in my lease that central air conditioning is provided by the landlord June 15 to Sept 15. I was informed on July 2nd, by the landlord, that the central air was broken and would not be fixed because the heat was also broken and that was a bigger issue. With the current hot weather and humitity, my apartment is well over 90 degrees. It feels closer to 100 degrees. It has made it impossible to cook or sleep. Will I be liable for the rest of my lease? Can I sue the landlord for the cost of moving? I have lived in this complex for 12 years and had not planned on moving at this time. The current landlord took over the complex June 1st and knew when they took it over that the Central Air and Heating systems were broken. We can't run air conditioners as the wiring won't support it.
